Get Verified
For security reasons, new PayPal accounts have spending and withdraw limits until they become verified. When you become verified by adding and confirming a Cheque account, your spending and withdraw limits will be removed and you will also be eligible for the Seller Protection Policy.
Be Aware of Security
Do not forget to update the business information in your profile. The information you provide helps PayPal ensure the safety and security of the payment network, the community and your transactions.
Understand Fees
Fees are assessed at the time of the transaction. When you receive a payment in your account, a fee will be deducted. The fee amount appears in your transaction history in the “Fee” column. There is never a charge to send money with PayPal.
Handle Refunds Well
You can refund a payment to your customer within the first 60 days of the transaction. The refund link can be found on the Transaction details page. Just click on the Details link of the transaction in the History tab. When you issue a refund via PayPal the initial PayPal fees are also reversed.
Seller Protection Policy
The central requirement of the Seller Protection Policy is that you ship to the buyer’s address on the Transaction Details page of the payment. This is called a “Confirmed address”.
Multiple Currencies
Use PayPal to accept payments in multiple currencies. If you decide to use multiple currencies you can manage all of your currencies from a single PayPal account. You can automatically convert payments into your preferred currency, or accept them in your local currency.
Keep your Account Information Up-to-Date
You can add or update account information, such as password, email address, mailing addressor credit card details from your profile.
View Transaction History
To view past transactions, go to the “history tab”. You can view the details of a transaction by clicking or its Details link.
